Doug’s Steak House...casual dining along the Mississippi
Famous for our steaks, our boating-themed menu has something for everyone... we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and are happy to prepare it just as you like it. For the evening we also have a variety... appetizers, soups and salads, sandwiches baskets; a variety of top-quality steaks in sirloin, t-bone, New York Strip and Rib-eye cuts as well as a number of other wholesome fare such as chicken, ham steak, ground beef steak and pork chops. Substitutions are not only allowed, but encouraged! Have it your way...as McDonald's says. We have nightly specials, a kid-friendly children's menu and an appealing choice of affordable senior citizen meals. For the portion-size conscious, smaller portions are available for some dinners. Once you skim through our menu, you'll be looking for the car keys so you can come check it out in person! Whether you are in town for the sites or the fishing, dining alone, celebrating that special occasion or just having a peaceful meal; we can provide the ideal setting. We can seat nearly 100 - so two or twenty - you get personal attention from our servers. We also have a party room downstairs that can be reserved for large groups, special occasions, parties, business meetings, etc. So drive on in - turn east off Highway 52 at Pronto and come all the way up to River Park Drive...we're on the left, at the corner. Or boat in from Dubuque or Prairie du Chien ...dock free just below Doug's and stroll up for a great meal. There's lots to do around Guttenberg...check out some of our friends' sites! since 1967, Doug's is located 40 miles north of Dubuque, Iowa on beautiful River Park Drive of historic Guttenberg, Iowa. We are right across the street
from the great Mississippi River where eagles soar over the open water's by Lock and Dam #10 and rest in the trees on our riverbank.
